ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

When we say full-service, we mean it! Trumpet is more than just a civil engineering or construction firm. We’re also an environmental services firm with all the services you need for your development.

In fact, Trumpet is one of the only firms in Missouri that uses computer modeling to create water quality impact studies (WQIS). We have proven experience coordinating WQIS with state and federal regulatory bodies to expedite Waste Water Treatment Plant permitting and approval. With this background, we are often able to help our clients substantially lower capital costs by showing that particular waste treatment strategies will not adversely affect receiving streams.

The Trumpet team has designed more than 50 WQIS using multiple computer models, including Qual2e, Qual2k and WASP. We can also help you determine Total Daily Maximum Loads (TDMLs) in your watershed. Plus, we have a significant amount of experience in working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) 404 permitting section and varies state permitting sections for wetland and stream delineation and permitting—and we can coordinate Phase 1 through Phase 3 Memorandums of Agreement for cultural resource studies.

We can also design, permit, construct, and monitor wetland and stream mitigation areas. What’s more, Trumpet can assist you with creative stormwater pollution and prevention plan (SWPPP) design, construction and monitoring. Better yet, we do all this with our in-house staff.  Trumpet’s in house environmental & engineering staff integrate the latest computer modeling techniques, BMPs, and creative engineering solutions to help our clients comply with Phase 2 NPDES stormwater regulations.  Our stormwater solutions utilize innovative bio-integrated designs that lower capital costs and reduce erosion, flooding, and water quality issues for every rainfall event.

If your project requires environmental assessments or remediation, Trumpet can handle all your needs from Phase 1 through Phase 2. And, lastly, we can also provide ecological resource delineation and innovative site planning for low-impact site development and green building site design.
