CIVIL ENGINEERING

The Trumpet Land Services team comes to the table with more than two decades of experience in roadway design, residential subdivision design, commercial site planning, drinking water system design and waste water treatment plant design. You can count on Trumpet to handle every facet of your pre-construction requirements—including permitting.

In fact, we have years of experience with planning and permitting subdivisions and commercial developments in various municipalities. We’ve also worked with all the key regulatory bodies associated with land development including various state natural resource departments, conservation agencies, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and more. Additionally, our civil construction managers always create project plans and coordinate and/or certify construction progress.

Our clients come to us because they want to do something substantial on or with the land. Their goal is to build something significant; a subdivision, waste water treatment plant, road, condominiums, or perhaps a store expansion. Others need to know the possible environmental impact of a new project... or to remediate old scars. At Trumpet Land Services, we help clients on a variety of projects make better decisions—from the ground up. Because we understand the effects of variable ground conditions and the challenges of construction, we bring valuable expertise to the job site. Much of the engineering work we do is invisible in the finished product—yet critical to its structural integrity. In an industry where requirements and regulations are continually changing, we offer clients cost-effective options to meet current demands. One of our strongest attributes is our ability to meet the needs of our clients in an efficient and professional manner. We look ahead with a strong desire to maintain the level of service which we believe is the key to our success.

TRUMPET’s respected group of employees brings close to a 75 years of combined experience to clients. Though the projects differ, the effort and creativeness of their methods is the same: We consult relevant publications and databases so that exploration programs consider prior knowledge before evaluating overburden, bedrock and groundwater conditions. Next we use a combination of accumulated expertise and computer modeling to predict likely physical changes in the site over time, under various conditions. Specific applications include risk analysis, water resource evaluations, fate and transport of groundwater contaminants, and modeling of wastewater application rates.

Another strength at Trumpet Land Services, is in Soil and Wetlands Science. In today’s highly-regulated land use environment, we provide clients with reliable, objective site evaluation services, as well as wetlands identification, delineation, assessment and permitting. Mitigating for wetland impacts is crucial to development in many areas, and we have a solid record of successfully designing mitigation plans that are prerequisite for permitting. We also provide specialized consulting, using our proprietary methods to help clients maximize long-term results with optimal site conditions.

In a commercial marketplace where location is everything, environmental due diligence for real estate transactions has become increasingly critical and complex. At TRUMPET, our environmental science department, technicians provide clients throughout the Midwest with comprehensive environmental assessment and remediation services, including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, UST consulting, hazardous waste closure studies, and Brownfields Redevelopment consulting. We possess the expertise, experience and communication skills to bring vision to reality—from the ground up.
